22-06-2008 SPAR European Cup, Annecy, France. Great Britain & Northern Ireland men's team win the last ever SPAR European Cup. Great Britain secured their fifth men's title on the second day of the last ever SPAR European Cup in Annecy. They finished with 112 points , 14 ahead of second-placed Poland. Triple jumper Phillips Idowu was elected the Athlete of the Cup, having helped Britain to the biggest winning margin in the men's Cup for nine years. Russia's women, unbeaten since 1997 won the womans title. The GB & NI women's team claimed a well deserved third place. ... |

20-03-2008 Raising Money for Vickys Water Project On Sunday 30th September 2007 190 runners took part in the Great North Run raising money for Vickys Water Project. Visit the team page on MyActionAid. This was the largest single group of friends and family ever to participate in the race. Team VWP raised more than £400,000 for Vicky's Water Project and surpassed all of the projects targets.
